CROSSPATH

There's an increasingly popular trend or belief circling in a lot of young adult Christians today, especially in less doctrine led and unstructured circles which stems from the apparent lack of a pointed Scripture in the Bible condemning sex before marriage. It's true that there is no Bible verse in any book that says, "Sexual relations shall not take place before two people are married", but in Hebrews 13:4, the writer says, "Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.." He's categorizing the sexually immoral and the adulterer with people who do not kept the marriage bed pure, the marriage bed being of course, two people engaging in sex.. . So, as much as you may want to hear otherwise and, yes, I do understand, it is the Bible and not just your parents or previous generations that teach that engaging in sex outside of marriage is wrong and is compared to adultery or having an affair.
